This formula also uses a tiny amount of Tapioca Starch (from Cassava root) as a thickener & stabilizer; vegetable Glycerin, for a softening creamy texture; Cetearyl Olivate/Solitan Olivate, emulsifiers from olive oil that blend ingredients, reducing separation; Caprylyl Glyceryl Ether and Capryl Hydroxamic Acid, antifungal preservatives made from coconut oil; coconut-based Coco-caprylate, providing spreadability and absorption so the oil doesn’t sit on skin’s surface; Cetyl Alcohol from coconuts that emulsify to create a smooth texture; and corn-based Propanediol used as an alternative to petroleum glycols for helping ingredients penetrate the skin.
