Step One: Dry Brushing
Did you know there’s a brush designed for your skin? It’s true. The simple action of dry brushing is step number one for glowing and healthy skin.
A dry brush is made up of stiff/dense bristle. A high quality dry brush will be made with natural fibres - not from plastic or synthetic materials. Your dry brush bristles should be strong enough to feel 'comfortably uncomfortable'. They shouldn't be too soft, but it shouldn't be painful or scratch your skin.
Dry brushing works to support your body in several ways:
How to Dry Brush Your Skin
Before a shower or bath, take your dry brush and begin on the top of your feet. Your skin should be dry before you proceed
Make gentle circular upward motions, from the tips of your toes all the way up your leg, working in the direction of your heart
Always work from your feet up - this supports the natural highway of your lymphatic system
Work slowly, and once you’ve covered your entire body, hop in the shower or bath
Have your water anywhere from warm to hot for increased blood circulation
Practice Dry Brushing before every shower, or at least 2-3 times a week
Step Two: Black Seed Oil
Follow your shower with a self-oil massage using Black Seed Oil. Gently pat your skin dry with a towel, leaving it a little damp, then apply Black Seed Oil topically to allow for maximum absorption and moisturization.
Black seed oil provides both antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and can be used topically for:
This simple 2-step process provides same-day results for glowing healthy skin. With regular practice, you will begin to see and feel the benefits of the dry brushing + black seed oil combo.
